Neon Orange Polyester Paracord Type III

This US Made Paracord consists of a Polyester sleeve (outer layer) and a core of Nylon yarns. Polyester Paracord cannot be fused together with Nylon Paracord due to its chemical make up. Polyester and Nylon both have their own advantages and disadvantages for use. The overview below contains the most important features of Polyester and Nylon paracord.

• Polyester doesn't absorb water like Nylon does.
• Polyester doesn't shrink when it's wet.
• Polyester does have a rougher surface than Nylon Paracord.
• Polyester has a lower Elasticity than Nylon Paracord
• Polyester is more resistant to wear and UV light.
• Polyester is less stronger than polyester under steady pressure.
