Biothane Beta Coated Webbing (B10 standard) is a product that is close to leather because of its hand feel and flexibility. This makes BioThane® a very desirable product among vegans or non-leather users. The Biothane Reflective has a reflective band, with the standard BETA Biothane coating. The reflective strip reflects light as it catches it, making the leash or collar highly visible. The reflective Biothane is perfect for the cold, dark months. Great for extra safe and eye-catching dog collars, dog leashes and horse halters.

Material and characteristics

Who knows; a leather leash that gets dirty and requires a lot of maintenance? Not with a Biothane leash, which is good and easy to clean with a little soap and water! BioThane® is a coated webbing made of a strong layer of Polyester PA) with a protective layer of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). This protective layer makes the Biothane easy to clean, durable and waterproof. In addition, you can make the Biothane together by gluing it.

Use

Within the equestrian market, horse halters, dog collars, drag leashes and dog leashes, Biothane has become a very popular product. The Beta series has a matte appearance and excellent flexibility, even in cold conditions. Biothane can be purchased by the meter, the total number of meters is supplied as one length with a maximum of 30 meters per spool.

What is BioThane ®?

BioThane ® is the brand name of all coated webbing products made by BioThane Coated Webbing Corp. It’s basically a polyester webbing with a TPU or PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, easy to clean and weldable.

Does Biothane hurt dogs or horses?</h2

Not any more than leather! As long as you size the end product correctly it should never hurt your animal.

No, BioThane is stinkproof.

How long will Biothane last?

Under normal use, BioThane will long outlast leather and nylon.

Will the color fade?

The opaque colors tend to hold color significantly longer than the fluorescent colors. In general, the deeper the shade of the hue, the longer it will last.

Why is BioThane better than leather?

BioThane ® is more durable, cleanable, stronger and easier to maintain. It is also readily available in different colors.
